Helpful Stuff I Picked Up: Elvie

Elvie, as she likes to be called, is another client of my workplace.

When I told her about the Creative Thinking class and this project, I asked her if she does meditation with the schoolchildren she works with. (I recorded the conversation, but I just can't publish it.)

She told me that her co-worker sits the children down after lunch (which makes them really rowdy). She dimmed the lights and sits the children down and lets them pretend that there's a ball that starts from the top of their heads and goes through their body.

Generally, it's like a full body scan. This is an adult version:

This is a very great exercise when you really want to know what's bugging you inside. It also gives you a little breathing area from your busy schedule.
